By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking & Payment
A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.
Full payment is due 3 days prior to your event or rental date.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.
We accept payment by bank transfer or secure payment link (provided upon request).
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled date: deposit retained.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled date: full payment is due and non-refundable.
For outdoor events affected by extreme weather, we will work with you to reschedule when possible.
3. Raclette Party Pack Rental (DIY Service)
Rental includes raclette machine, cheese, charcuterie, potatoes, baguette, and condiments.
Equipment must be returned clean, complete, and undamaged.
A $300 deposit is required. This is refunded within 48 hours after return, assuming no issues.
Late return or damaged items may incur extra charges.
4. Live Raclette Experience (Catered Service)
This service includes Monsieur Cheesy on-site, live raclette melting, and full grazing table setup.
Service duration is up to 2.5 hours unless otherwise agreed.
A power outlet and sufficient table space must be provided at the venue.
Minimum booking is 20 guests. Guest numbers must be confirmed 3 days before the event.
5. Travel & Accessibility
Events located 25km+ from Burleigh Heads may incur a travel surcharge.
Please notify us in advance of any accessibility challenges (stairs, restricted access, etc.).
6. Client Responsibilities
Ensure access to the venue at least 1 hour before setup.
Provide clear directions and contact details for the event day.
Inform us of any dietary requirements, allergies, or special needs at least 72 hours in advance.
7. Liability
Monsieur Cheesy is not liable for:
Any injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper use of rental equipment.
Venue conditions, including power outages or unsuitable setup space.
Any external service disruptions or unforeseen incidents beyond our control.
